The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to function as a Telecommunications Cable Jointer. A Telecommunications Cable Jointer joints, terminates and maintains telecommunications copper and fibre optic cables installed in underground pipes, trenches, and overhead systems.
A qualified learner will be able to:

Certificate will be issued by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) on successful completion of External integrated Summative Assessment.

❖ Module 1- Select, Use, Care for and Maintain Tools and Equipment
❖ Module 2- Install and Join Telecommunications Cables
❖ Module 3- Diagnose and Repair Faults on Telecommunications Cable Joints
❖ Module 4- Terminate and Connect Cables
❖ Module 5- Complete Cable Jointing Administration
❖ Module 1- Telecommunication Cable Installation and Jointing Processes
❖ Module 2- Splicing and Termination Processes
❖ Module 3- Fault Diagnosis and Repairing on Telecommunications Cable Jointing Processes
❖ Module 4- Telecommunications Cable Jointing Administration Processes
